James Town
Initiative
Literacy has been identified as one of the primary needs of the Jamestown
community so we are taking some steps to address. We are developing and hope
to implement scholastic program aimed at the emerging and late reader.
Brampton Small
Group Bible Study
The latest outreach initiative is
an informal group bible study held in the Brampton area. Led by Hugh
Fyffe, the exposition of the scripture is engaging and accompanied by real
life application. The informal setting is intimate, encouraging those
who would like to understand scripture, but may be too timid to participate
in a more formal church setting - here you can ask all your questions and
expect a biblical answer.
Cambridge Church Fellowship
www.seventhdaybaptist.ca
Led by Pastor D. McClean, and
serving the Cambridge area, this group meets not only for worship - but to
meet the needs of their community.

Street
Lights Ministry
Currently
runs a basketball program that operates
out of Westview Collegiate, located in the Jane and Finch community.
The idea of this ministry "...is to bring the
gospel to the streets"
Nursing Home
Ministry
Serving two nursing homes in
the East and West end of Toronto, we have a team of volunteers that
minister in song to those no longer able to attend a regular worship
service
Prison
Ministry
The Don Jail is one of our long
standing ministries, where we serve the inmates in a small group bible
study. Though it is often a dark a dreary place, we find that the
light of God word can bring the greatest transformations and freedom
behind bars.
