Welcome

Worship is the quintessential activity of Christians, and expressed corporately in Sabbath observance.  Sabbath worship is  a welcome break from the tyranny of a relentlessly hectic work week, where we focus on the Creator and His work of redemption  for which God is worthy of our praise and adoration.

On this site you will find information about who we are, what we believe,  and what we are currently doing in the community.

If you are looking for a place and a people with whom to worship,  to gain a deeper understanding of scripture, to exercise your gifts, and to grow spiritually we invite you to come and grow with us.

If you are not yet a Christian, but are seeking truth, looking for a fulfilling life or concerned about the afterlife please go to "Finding Your Way" page.

What can you expect when you come to Brydon SDB Church?

There are several worship activities throughout the day; you are welcome to attend any or all services.

For the early birds there is prayer and devotions at 9:30am, at 10:00am Sabbath School begins - this is an age appropriate bible study held in small interactive groups three children classes, a teen group, young adult and adult classes.

Sabbath school concludes with all the classes joining together in the sanctuary, we recite the lesson's key verse, a hymn and closing prayer followed by announcements.

Divine Worship begins at 12:15 with the praise and worship team leading a contemporary song service, followed by a traditional hymn, reading of the scripture and the preaching on the word.

During this service as an act of worship, members give their tithes and offering to support this local ministry.  Visitors are welcome but not obligated to give.  This service ends at 2:00pm.

During Divine Worship the younger children have their own activities that include bible stories, singing, movies, arts and crafts, and more...

For those who choose to stay for the afternoon there is a break from 2:00pm -3:15pm.  Most bring a packed lunch, and visitors will be provided lunch.  We desire to satisfy both spiritual and physical hunger.

There is an open adult bible study at 3:15pm every other week (see calendar for details) on alternate weeks the youth fellowship or young adults lead the afternoon program.

To close the Sabbath, there is a short thirty minute vesper service that includes prayer and testimony.  Our afternoon programs are flexible.
